You should provide REAL, ISP-BASED e-mail addresses in the owner, coder, and primary admin sections. DO NOT give me a web-based e-mail address here (i.e. yahoo, hotmail, juno, or any other such system). The reason for this is because if account changes are requested, and they do not come from your real e-mail address, they will not be honored. We've had too many instances of disgruntled admins/coders/co-owners who requested changes under the owner's web-based e-mail, when in fact the owner wanted no such thing. Web-based e-mails can easily be hacked. Therefore, provide real e-mail addresses in these 3 sections. You may provide web-based e-mails in the e-mail aliases section for all contacts. The real e-mail addres shall only used by me for proper contact purposes.
Also of importance: The owner, coder and primary admin accounts detailed below are to be used by ONE (1) and ONLY ONE person. The owner of the talker will specify complete contact info (and real e-mail addys) for anyone she/he deems trustworthy to help administrate the talker, website, etc. No other person but the person specified to use it may do so. ANYONE caught breaking this rule shall be terminated from the server; and the entire account shall be shut down and removed. This is a fairly major security step and one that helps avoid petty actions by disgruntled talker admins. If there is only one person doing all the work for now, that's fine. If anyone new comes aboard a talker, the owner should e-mail Alisa with all pertinent details and a separate account will be set up for that person. |
